• ORWHFS – AGM 2014

    The ORWHFS Annual General Meeting will be held on Saturday, February 28, 2015. The AGM will be held in room S103B of the Student Services Building at Okanagan College, 1000 KLO Road in Kelowna. The meeting will get under way at 10:00 am and will adjourn at approximately 3:00 pm. Officers, Directors and members are all welcome to attend.

  • ORWHFS Projects ultimately conserve wildlife and habitat. ORWHFS partners with individuals, corporations and government to administer funds for wildlife habitat purchase and enhancement. Administration fees earned by our Society are reinvested into the purchase of property to benefit wildlife and protect the land from future development. Our Philosophy

Formed in 1988 to purchase land for wildlife in the Okanagan Region, the board of the Okanagan Region Wildlife Heritage Fund Society aims to conserve and restore wild land as habitat for wildlife, since it is under increasing pressure from development.

The ORWHFS is a registered not for profit charitable organization and tax receipts can be issued for donations of cash or property or bequests from estates, so consider making a tax-deductible donation of money or land or including the society in your will, in order to further our common objectives of conserving habitat for the Okanagan’s wildlife.
